Everything You Need to Know About CBD Tinctures

http://bit.ly/34dxcck

If you’re interested in adding CBD to your wellness routine, then CBD tincture has probably popped up in your research. Maybe you’ve even asked your doctor about it already and they’ve recommended a CBD tincture. But what is CBD tincture? Is it different from CBD oil? Is it like taking an edible?
The answers are all found in the ingredients list. When you take a CBD oil, you’re taking just that, CBD. When you eat a CBD edible, you’re ingesting flavored CBD with a few extra delicious calories. But when you use a CBD tincture, you’re using a very potent formula of CBD that is combined with different carrier oils (like hemp oil) which work naturally with your body to help it better absorb the CBD.

What’s the difference between a CBD oil and a CBD tincture?

Remember, CBD oil is the non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in hemp plants. Unlike the THC found in marijuana, CBD oils, tinctures, and other products won’t get you high, but they do host a myriad of wellness benefits. Here at Diamond CBD, we extract our CBD oils from industrial hemp plants. These plants are rich in CBD and low in THC, guaranteeing that you’re using a product that’s going to give you the health benefits you’re looking for without any unwanted side effects.
The biggest difference between CBD oils and CBD tinctures is the type of ingredients in each. When you use a CBD tincture, you’re using a CBD oil that’s combined with a carrier oil to maximize on the effects of the CBD. These carrier oils can be olive oils, MCT oils, even honey and terpenes can be used in tinctures to help the body better absorb the CBD oil. A CBD tincture will always include other healthy oils or terpenes while a CBD oil is typically pure CBD extract without any added ingredients.

Tinctures are prepared differently than a CBD oil or edible. While Diamond CBD oils are extracted from the hemp flower through a process known as supercritical CO2 extraction, we utilize a different process in the making of our tinctures.
Diamond CBD tinctures are produced by steeping the hemp flower in alcohol under a low heat for a long period of time. This allows all of the active cannabis compounds in hemp, like cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabigerol (CBG), to infuse in the alcohol. We then boil off the alcohol, leaving a very concentrated, very potent tincture liquid that is combined with honey or MCT oil to create our signature Diamond CBD tinctures.
CBD tinctures with honey, MCT oil, hemp oil, or other carrier oils can also be called “full-spectrum” because of their unique formula of ingredients. “Full-spectrum” simply means that the CBD tincture contains other active cannabinoids, like CBG and CBC.
CBD tinctures often contain this full-spectrum of ingredients because the steeping process differs from the extraction process. When we extract CBD, we are taking only the CBD and isolating it from the other cannabinoids in the hemp plant. But when creating a CBD tincture, we leave in the other cannabinoids in order to create a more potent product.
Because of their potency, our customers use CBD tinctures to help combat stress, anxiety, and chronic pain. Our line of Diamond Relax Full Spectrum CBD tinctures are designed specifically with the full-spectrum of ingredients to provide a soothing and calming experience with just 1-2 drops. A little goes a long way when it comes to CBD tinctures, and adding a little honey to your dose can sweeten the whole experience.

Wait - why would you put honey in a CBD tincture?

Because it tastes delicious! And because CBD tinctures are taken orally, we want to ensure that our CBD tinctures are the most delicious. A few drops under the tongue is all you need to get your daily dose of CBD. That's why honey CBD tinctures are some of our favorites. The sweet taste of honey makes these tinctures go down as easy as a spoonful of sugar so you can get on with your busy day.
Honey is also rich in a few health benefits of its own, including antioxidants and other vital nutrients that can help boost your immune system.

What else can you add to CBD tinctures?

At Diamond CBD, we’re very particular about the ingredients that go into our CBD tinctures. We dedicate a lot of time and energy to extracting a high-quality CBD oil that is free of any solvents and unwanted ingredients, and we dedicate this same kind of attention to our tinctures.
All of our CBD tinctures come in various strengths and flavors to meet your health needs. We use honey because of its sweet flavor and healthy boost to our immune systems, we use hemp oil because it’s a natural constituent for CBD oil, and we use MCT oil because of its cognitive boost.
MCT oil is just a fancy way of saying coconut oil, but combining CBD oils with MCT oils in a tincture creates a unique formula that provides many naturally supportive health benefits. MCT oil is one of your best sources of essential fatty acids, and this makes it an excellent carrier oil for CBD. Your body will absorb the CBD quickly, and both the CBD and MCT oils work together to help you maintain your healthy lifestyle.

The best ways to use CBD tinctures

We love using CBD tinctures because of how quickly and easily we can incorporate them into our routines. A few drops under the tongue at the start of your day can set you up to take on whatever comes your way. Depending on your health needs, a few drops right before bed can help you relax and fall asleep so you can take on the next morning. Whichever way you use it, Diamond CBD tinctures are guaranteed to help.
CBD tinctures are also easy to use when cooking and can be added to any recipe for a healthy dose of CBD. Because of their potency and full-spectrum of ingredients, you can use the tinctures to bulk up your breakfast or cup of coffee in the morning. Adding a few drops to your dinner plate can also take the edge off a stressful day. Diamond CBD has a few recipes for you to try out this week.
